You’ll engage in meaningful work—conducting assessments, collaborating with teams, and ensuring students’ needs are met—within a vibrant educational community.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist license (required; must be submitted for consideration)
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based role supporting a range of age groups, ideally including preschool, elementary, and high school
- Comprehensive understanding of psychoeducational evaluations and assessment tools
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- History of active IEP team participation and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work on-site across multiple grades
- Flexibility to complete required fingerprinting procedures upon hiring
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and generate corresponding reports
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Deliver services exclusively in-person at assigned school sites
- Manage a diverse caseload and maintain diligent records
- Support the social, emotional, and academic needs of early learners through high school students
