Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Psychologist License required
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and special education procedures
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with virtual service delivery platforms, if opting for remote work
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational and psychological assessments
- Provide direct and consultative services for students, staff, and families
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support development of interventions and accommodations to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Serve as a resource for mental health awareness and positive school climate initiatives
