School Psychologist - Winsted, Connecticut

In this full-time role, you’ll work Monday through Friday, with a weekly commitment of 35–37.5 hours, focusing exclusively on grades 7 through 12.
Your primary responsibility will be managing a full evaluation caseload, encompassing both initial and re-evaluations. There is no counseling required with this role, allowing you to specialize and excel in comprehensive assessments that directly inform educational planning for students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification (or eligibility) for the state
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations within a school setting
- Ability to efficiently manage evaluation schedules and documentation
- Familiarity with special education referral and eligibility procedures
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments for initial and re-evaluations according to school and state guidelines
- Prepare detailed reports to support IEP teams in making educational decisions
