Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
- Certification for work in school settings (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Prior experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage and prioritize a varied caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer a variety of formal and informal psychological assessments and collaborate in IEP/504 planning
- Provide comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to develop data-driven intervention strategies
- Support students’ social-emotional growth through targeted counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Serve as a resource for best practices regarding student mental health, learning challenges, and crisis response
