Qualifications:
- Valid license as a School Psychologist in North Carolina is required
- Certification for work in schools
- Demonstrated experience with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Proficient in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload
- Dedication to collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students at all grade levels
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with educators, parents, and other specialists to promote student success
- Offer consultation and support regarding academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with regulations
- Advocate for students’ well-being and instructional needs, helping foster inclusive learning environments
