Caseload & Role Focus:
- Support students with academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related service providers
- Provide consultation and support regarding student interventions and accommodations
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Interpret evaluation results and develop appropriate recommendations
- Participate in eligibility determinations and special education planning
- Contribute to IEP development and annual review meetings
- Consult with teachers and school staff regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Support students' social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Maintain accurate evaluation, service, and student documentation
Requirements:
- Active Oregon School Psychologist License
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
