Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Michigan School Psychologist license (must provide verification upon applying)
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Prior experience in school settings is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assess student needs and develop strategies to support both academic and social-emotional growth
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective intervention plans
- Counsel students individually and in groups to address academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop appropriate educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
This full-time opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Part-time arrangements may be considered for outstanding candidates who require flexibility. All work is performed onsite, emphasizing the importance of strong collaborative relationships within the school community.
