Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active New Mexico school psychologist license
- Experience working with students at elementary, middle, and high school levels preferred
- Solid understanding of psychological assessments, intervention development, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions and supports
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education eligibility determinations
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups
- Support the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Promote a safe and positive learning environment across school settings
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely reports as required
