Position Overview
We are seeking two School Psychologists to join a school district in Americus, Georgia for the 2026–2027 school year. The district is currently looking to fill one full-time and one part-time position.
The caseload will serve students across K–12th grade, with additional caseload details currently being gathered.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide school psychology services and student support
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate student records
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other school-based professionals
Position Details
- 1 Full-Time School Psychologist
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- District may be able to accommodate up to 40 hours per week if needed
- 1 Part-Time School Psychologist
- K–12th grade caseload
- Caseload specifics are still being finalized and will be provided as more information becomes available
- Onsite position for the 2026–2027 school year
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and assignment details.
Eligible candidates may also have access to benefits and travel assignment options, including stipends for qualifying temporary relocations.
Requirements
- Valid Georgia School Psychologist certification/licensure
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong evaluation, assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families
