Position Overview
We are seeking onsite School Psychologists to support Muscogee County School District in Columbus, Georgia. This is a full-time opportunity with a flexible placement process designed to match each candidate's experience and preferences with the district's needs.
The district does not yet have an estimated caseload for the upcoming school year. During the interview, the district typically speaks with candidates about their preferred age group and experience level to determine the best placement.
Part-time candidates may also be considered depending on their desired schedule and number of hours available.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive school psychology services within the district
- Conduct psychological and special education evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other student support meetings as appropriate
- Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Complete daily service logs as required by the district

Compensation
$53–$58 per hour, based on experience and assignment details.
Eligible candidates may also have access to benefits and travel assignment options, including stipends for qualifying temporary relocations.
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia School Psychologist certification/credential
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, evaluation, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school teams and families
- Comfortable completing daily logs documenting services provided
