Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting
- Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and behavioral strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and individual/group counseling
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Support staff and parents with strategies to improve student learning and adjustment
- Lead and participate in meetings to interpret evaluation data and offer recommendations
- Foster inclusive, supportive environments aligned with school/district policies
