Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active state-issued license, or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychological assessments, data interpretation, and IEP processes
- Experience collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Skillful at conducting direct student evaluations and delivering evidence-based interventions
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to best professional practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for K-12 students
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to identify and address student needs
- Participate actively in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams
- Develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure appropriate goals and accommodations
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support as needed
- Keep thorough and timely documentation, reports, and progress notes
- Contribute to a culture of inclusivity and positive behavioral support within the school community
