Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Moderate experience in a relevant field serving children with emotional or behavioral needs
- Eligible licensure: Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license (PELSB); applicants who are Board Certified Behavior Analysts or pursuing certification are encouraged
- Trained in nonviolent crisis intervention
- Background as an Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher with behavior specialist/interventionist experience, or as a BCBA/Behavior Analyst
Core Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive behavioral assessments and clearly communicate results to parents, educational staff, and relevant providers
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers in developing Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Create and manage data collection systems to track intervention effectiveness, review progress, and suggest modifications to continually enhance student outcomes
