Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license issued by the Professional Education Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB); Board Certified Behavior Analyst or candidates progressing towards certification are welcome
- Nonviolent crisis intervention training
- Previous experience as an Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher with behavior specialist/interventionist background, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or Behavioral Analyst
- Solid background conducting behavioral assessments and crafting effective intervention plans
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and deliver analytical interpretations to parents, educators, and community partners
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers in developing Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Design and oversee data collection systems, analyze data to gauge intervention effectiveness, and recommend adjustments to optimize student progress
- Foster a positive, solution-oriented environment through teamwork and innovative practice
