Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification and license (Colorado preferred or eligibility for state licensure)
- Experience providing psychological services in elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Proficiency with evaluations, IEP development, crisis intervention, and student counseling
- Ability to consult effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong skills in documentation, data analysis, and case management
- Compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to student needs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and report on findings
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, behavioral interventions, and support services for students
- Consult with teachers and families about academic, behavioral, and mental health issues
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and share insights to enhance learning environments
- Aid in crisis prevention and intervention strategies within the school community
- Maintain accurate records and follow all compliance requirements
