Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of best practices in assessment, intervention, and consultation within school environments
- Experience in administering cognitive, achievement, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes, 504 plans, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Consult with teachers, parents, and outside agencies to develop effective intervention strategies and classroom accommodations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 plans
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed to maintain a safe and positive school environment
- Promote a culture of inclusion and respect, advocating for the needs of all students
