School Psychologist – Aurora, Colorado (Denver Metro)

ProCare Therapy is partnering with local school districts to fill positions for the upcoming school year as a School Psychologist.

Position Summary

Our education staffing agency is seeking qualified School Psychologists to support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs in school settings. Responsibilities include assessments, counseling, IEP support, crisis intervention, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community providers.

Age Range: Assignments may serve students from Early Childhood Education (ECE) through High School and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling services aligned with IEP goals.
  • Conduct psychoeducational, cognitive, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive assessments.
  • Develop evaluation reports, IEP goals, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), and Educational Impact Statements.
  • Participate in IEP, MTSS, special education, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Support crisis response efforts, including risk assessments and safety planning.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, administrators, and outside service providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and service records.
  • Provide consultation, training, and behavioral/mental health support for students and staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) License with School Psychologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Successful completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.
  • Passing score on the Praxis School Psychologist Exam, if required for licensure.
  • Ability to pass all required agency, state, and district background checks.
  • 3 years of experience as a school psychologist

  • Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with technology and electronic documentation systems.

Compensation for this position ranges from $34.46 to $64.46. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
