Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to middle school students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and learning needs
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, observations, and consultations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education and intervention plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and evidence-based recommendations
- Support data-driven decision making and promote safe, inclusive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with professional and ethical standards
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification, with eligibility in Illinois
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience in a school setting preferred, particularly at the middle school level
- Strong understanding of MTSS, IEP processes, and special education law
- Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and a positive learning experience
- Ability to work onsite from 7:40 AM to 3:40 PM, three days per week as part of a .6 contract
