This in-person, part-time contract opportunity is for the 2026-2027 school year, working three days per week as a .6 School Psychologist. Hours are set from 7:40 AM to 3:40 PM, giving you a balanced schedule with meaningful impact.
As a School Psychologist in this supportive environment, you’ll collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and families to help students reach their fullest potential. Your assessments and insights will ensure students receive the support they need both academically and emotionally.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with middle school students preferred, but not required
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, IEPs, and intervention strategies
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Participate in IEP meetings to develop and monitor student plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
