School Psychologist - Austin, Indiana
Step into a key role supporting student success as a School Psychologist, working onsite across three school buildings. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Completing approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually to help guide eligibility decisions
- Providing services across three separate school buildings, supporting diverse student populations
- Working as an active participant in monthly team meetings to review student progress and discuss best practices
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective supports
- Ensuring compliance with special education regulations and maintaining accurate documentation
- Reporting directly to the district supervisor
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid Indiana School Psychologist license
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and determining special education eligibility is preferred
- Strong understanding of special education law, compliance requirements, and ethical practice standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented approach to managing evaluation caseload and documentation
