Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana School Psychologist license (required)
- Expertise in administering psychoeducational assessments and determining eligibility is highly desired
- In-depth understanding of special education law, compliance, and best practices
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations annually, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Act as a critical liaison between families, staff, and administration to promote student success
- Provide ongoing consultation and recommendations to support individualized education plans
- Attend and participate in monthly team meetings, sharing insights and strategies
- Maintain strict adherence to state and federal guidelines in documentation and eligibility determinations
- Report directly to the district supervisor, ensuring that all practices align with district standards
