Qualifications:
- NASP certification or LSSP from the Louisiana State Board of Examiners and Psychologists required
- District background check/fingerprinting
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations & IDEA compliance
- Strong report-writing and organizational skills; able to meet evaluation deadlines
- Effective communicator; skilled in presenting assessment data to diverse audiences
- Collaborative mindset, experienced in multidisciplinary team environments
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of multidisciplinary teams at multiple K-12 sites (29 hrs/week)
- Conduct and interpret educational assessments; write timely, comprehensive reports
- Offer resources and direct support to students and families
- Consult regularly with educators, administrators, and parents around assessment findings and intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records, participate in training, and explain the assessment process
