What We’re Seeking:
- NASP certification or LSSP from the Louisiana State Board of Examiners and Psychologists (required)
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and IDEA compliance
- Skilled in interpreting assessment data and drafting detailed evaluation reports
- Understanding of special education criteria and multidisciplinary processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Comfortable collaborating with educational diagnosticians, administrators, and allied professionals
- Bilingual ability is a plus
- Successful completion of background check/fingerprinting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver educational assessments and written reports promptly
- Provide referrals and direct services to students and families
- Implement intervention strategies and collaborate with teachers and staff
- Maintain documentation for accountability and compliance
- Participate in trainings and explain assessment processes to parents and educators
- Select, administer, score, and interpret assessment tools
- Help plan instructional or behavioral interventions
