School Psychologist in Bear, DE

Your expertise will be integral in conducting counseling sessions, comprehensive evaluations, and reviewing 60-day IEPs. You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring all students receive the resources they need to excel academically and emotionally. Your days will be dynamic and purposeful as you navigate diverse situations and support students through crucial developmental years.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Delaware state certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Previous school-based experience conducting evaluations and participating in IEP meetings
- Strong understanding of adolescent development and social/emotional needs for grades 8-12
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative school team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological counseling and direct support to students in grades 8-12
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in the review and updating of 60-day IEPs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to identify student needs and implement effective interventions
