School Psychologist Responsibilities
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive school-based psychological services designed to support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities may include:
Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Providing consultation and recommendations to support student success
Developing and implementing appropriate interventions and support strategies
Maintaining accurate documentation and student records
Supporting special education eligibility and evaluation processes
Performing duties in accordance with district and applicable state requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Appropriate School Psychologist licensure or certification for Washington State
Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
