Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of MTSS/RTI frameworks, IEPs, and special education laws
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and crisis intervention skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Compassionate, organized, and solution-oriented approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological tests, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Interpret assessment results and make recommendations for educational planning
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to provide consultation and intervention strategies
- Facilitate crisis management and intervention as needed
- Support social-emotional learning and positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
