School Psychologist - Saint Michael, Minnesota

This full-time, contract position (40 hours per week) gives you the opportunity to work directly with K-5th grade and high school students, supporting their academic, emotional, and behavioral development.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (required)
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably across elementary and high school levels
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and special education processes
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage caseloads effectively
- Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students requiring additional support
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and provide progress monitoring
- Collaborate with staff to design and deliver prevention and crisis intervention programs
- Offer consultation and resources to families, educators, and administrators
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and district requirements
