Key Qualifications:
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) proper licensure through Minnesota’s licensing system for school psychologists
- Experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in diverse school environments
- Strong understanding of psychological assessments, interventions, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school sites and interact with students of varying ages
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide direct support and counseling to students, promoting positive mental health, social skills, and academic achievement
- Lead and participate in meetings, offering expertise on assessment results and strategies
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and empowering atmosphere for all students
