Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Comfortable conducting evaluations and creating comprehensive reports
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs
- Develop and assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Serve as a resource and consultant for staff and parents regarding learning challenges and behavioral issues
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention services for students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
