Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Previous experience in PreK-8 settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of MTSS/RTI, assessment, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt services based on student and building needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in special education eligibility meetings
- Provide direct and consultative support for students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
- Work as a key member of problem-solving teams and the IEP process
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate, organized records and timely documentation
