School Psychologist - Des Plaines, IL

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification/licensure for School Psychologists
- Experience with PreK-8th grade populations strongly preferred
- Capable of managing assessment, intervention, and consultation duties
- Ability to prioritize and balance tasks across multiple campuses
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI practices and IEP development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and present findings in a clear, concise manner
- Guide the development and implementation of effective IEPs and behavior plans in partnership with staff and families
- Offer direct and indirect support services to students, including counseling, social skills groups, and consultation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to build positive school climates and address diverse student needs
- Provide crisis intervention, prevention strategies, and participate in problem-solving teams
