Key Skills and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification in Illinois
- Experience providing psychological services in a K-6 setting preferred
- Strong background in evaluating students for special education eligibility
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Clear communication skills for facilitating domain meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assessments and meetings
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of psychoeducational evaluations
- Serve as a key facilitator during domain meetings, ensuring clear communication with staff and families
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement MTSS
- Deliver consultative support and recommendations for student success plans
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
- Travel between two local elementary school sites as part of your regular duties
