In this role, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 30–35 students, offering your expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation. The focus will be on conducting evaluations, facilitating domain meetings, and supporting the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process to help each student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid professional certification/licensure for Illinois School Psychologists
- Previous experience in K-5 or elementary school settings strongly preferred
- Skill in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student evaluations to inform educational planning
- Facilitate and lead domain meetings with staff and families
- Collaborate as part of the MTSS framework to develop interventions and monitor progress
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding best practices for student support
- Maintain clear documentation and adhere to timelines
