Required Qualifications & Credentials:
- Master’s Degree, Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.), or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid certification or licensure appropriate for practicing in a school setting
- Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong understanding of special education eligibility processes and documentation
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for special education services
- Compile, interpret, and present assessment results in clear, actionable reports
- Consult with school staff and families to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Remain current on best practices and compliance requirements for school-based psychological services
- Foster a supportive, confidential, and culturally sensitive environment when interacting with students and their families
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position (35-36 hours per week)
- School hours: 7:50 AM – 2:50 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday); 7:50 AM – 3:20 PM (Wednesday)
