Your expertise will be employed in conducting psychological evaluations for both initial and re-evaluations, handling both educational and autism assessments (ed and au). You'll participate in MD ARD meetings as required, present evaluation results during ARDs, and support students with counseling as a related service—primarily in an indirect capacity, varying by campus. The role is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility to allow you to manage your professional and personal commitments.
Preferred experience and qualifications:
- Professional license as a School Psychologist
- Prior school setting experience preferred
- Familiarity with completing psychological (ed/au) assessments and delivering results at ARDs
- Experience participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Ability to provide counseling as a related service (indirect case management)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to complete required credentialing processes, including fingerprints and drug screening
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a dynamic caseload across elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school levels
- Complete comprehensive psychological evaluations for both initial assessments and re-evaluations
- Participate in ARD meetings and effectively communicate results and recommendations to the educational team
- Support MD ARD participation when requested
- Provide counseling services to a select group of students, mainly in an indirect service role
Interviews may be required as part of an initial prescreen; availability between 9-11am or 2-3pm EST is ideal, with some flexibility.
