Empower students and support schools as a Behavior Specialist or School Psychologist supporting an education center community near Burnsville, MN. Multiple opportunities are available, including both long-term and short-term contract assignments. Openings include:
- Two full-year opportunities at an Education Center
- One short-term opening covering a leave of absence (estimated 4-6 weeks)
- One short-term opening covering a leave of absence (estimated through 9/30 with possible extension)
Key Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Moderate experience in a relevant setting
- Valid special education teaching license, school psychologist license, or school social worker license (PELSB); Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or those working toward BCBA certification are also encouraged to apply
- Training in nonviolent crisis intervention
- Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Autism Spectrum Disorder teaching experience with a background in behavior intervention is highly valued
Responsibilities:
- Perform behavioral assessments and translate findings for parents, staff, and community providers
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers to develop Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Design systems for behavioral data collection and regularly review data to measure plan effectiveness
- Make recommendations and adjust intervention plans based on student progress
