Help support students' success as a Behavior Specialist in a dynamic educational setting near Minneapolis, MN. Openings are available for both full-year and short-term contract opportunities, including two full-year roles and two leave coverage positions. Collaborate with dedicated professionals and make a significant difference for students with behavioral and emotional needs.
Qualified candidates will have:
- An advanced degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a closely related field, with relevant professional experience
- A valid licensure from PELSB: special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license; or be nationally Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or in the process of obtaining this credential
- Nonviolent crisis intervention training
- Experience as an Emotional Behavioral Disorder Teacher, Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher (with Behavior Specialist/Interventionist background), BCBA, or Behavioral Analyst
In this role, you’ll:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and provide analytic reports and interpretation to parents, faculty, and community partners
- Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers on Social Learning Profiles, Functional Behavioral Assessments, and thorough Behavior Intervention Plans
- Design and implement data collection systems to assess student progress, analyze outcomes, and recommend adjustments for optimal intervention effectiveness
