In this role, you will utilize your specialized skills to conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), initial evaluations, and re-evaluations. Your responsibilities include collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop evidence-based interventions and support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-age children in school settings
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs, comprehensive assessments, and interpreting evaluation results
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for team-based problem-solving
- Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal special education regulations
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete FBAs to support positive behavioral interventions
- Administer and interpret a full range of psychoeducational evaluations for initial and re-evaluation purposes
- Develop detailed reports and contribute to eligibility meetings
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and ongoing progress monitoring
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert guidance
