Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience with FBAs, initial evaluations, and re-evaluations in a school setting
- Strong understanding of child development and elementary school interventions
- Solid communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities in a flexible environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive FBAs and develop behavioral recommendations
- Carry out initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students, interpreting and documenting findings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student's individualized educational needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to the development of IEPs and support plans
- Provide guidance regarding student interventions and crisis prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate records and uphold ethical practice standards
