Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Comprehensive understanding of child development, behavioral intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments, developing IEPs, and recommending interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with staff, families, and outside agencies
- Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt solutions to support diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide direct and consultative support for students with learning, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve as an active team member in multidisciplinary meetings, providing expertise in psycho-educational diagnosis and recommendations
- Implement and support evidence-based interventions, including crisis management as needed
- Promote a positive learning environment that strengthens students’ emotional and academic growth
