You'll work closely with an elementary caseload, conducting comprehensive evaluations, participating in ARDs, developing and managing IEPs, and crafting effective behavior intervention plans. Some minor travel between nearby schools provides variety to your week and makes each day unique.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (TN or ability to obtain)
- Experience with K-5 caseloads in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEPs, ARD meetings, and FBA/BIP processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Enthusiasm for providing insight and support to students, families, and educational teams
- Ability to travel locally between school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Actively participate in ARD meetings and contribute to student-centered plans
- Develop and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Design and implement behavior plans in collaboration with staff and families
- Maintain clear and timely documentation
- Foster positive relationships with students, educators, and parents
