Your primary responsibilities will center on conducting comprehensive evaluations, participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, collaborating on creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and developing effective behavior plans. Occasional minor travel between schools will provide dynamic experiences and the chance to engage with a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary (K-5) student populations
- Solid understanding of conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
- Proficiency with IEP processes, ARD meeting participation, and behavior plan development
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and integrate into new school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify student learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Lead and participate actively in ARDs and IEP meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor student-specific behavior plans
- Communicate results and recommendations clearly to staff and families
- Provide consultative and direct support to educators and parents
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school and district guidelines
