What you'll bring:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary (K-5) student populations
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, writing reports, and interpreting assessment data
- Confidence and skill in participating in ARDs and IEP meetings
- Ability to create and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Flexibility for travel between nearby schools as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for K-5 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on ARDs and IEPs, contributing insight and expertise
- Develop individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student development and academic success
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide crisis support or consultation services as appropriate for the elementary caseload
