Make a significant impact in the school community supporting students’ mental health and educational journeys as a School Psychologist in a dynamic urban district near Chester, PA. This full-time, onsite contract runs until June 10, 2027, and offers two distinct positions supporting middle school students. Your expertise will guide interventions, assessments, and evaluations that ensure all learners receive the support they need.
Available Positions:
- Toby Farms (6th-8th grade): 8:15AM–3:00PM, Monday–Friday
- ESA Middle School: 8:30AM–4:00PM, Monday–Friday; includes occasional OOD (out-of-district) evaluations and overflow assessments
Both roles are onsite only, with a 35-hour work week.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience in school settings, with a preference for urban education environments
- Ability to perform evaluations and assessments independently
- Complete all required PA clearances prior to start date
- Natural adaptability in diverse, fast-paced settings
- Reliable transportation and ability to work the specified hours without accommodation
- Professionalism and ease working onsite with students and staff
Key Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Deliver direct and consultative psychological services for middle school students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop interventions and support plans
- Attend IEP and student support meetings, providing expert recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
