School Psychologist - Upper Darby, PA
Make a meaningful impact in a school-based role supporting students’ academic and emotional success. Two contract opportunities are available for experienced school psychologists to work with middle school students, focusing on comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and fostering positive learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in a school setting, ideally with 6th-8th grade students
- Comfortable working in an urban environment and able to adapt to the needs of the district
- Proficient in evaluation, assessment, and producing actionable reports
- Reliable transportation is required for consistent onsite attendance
- Ability to complete PA clearances before the start date
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite five full days per week, with no remote or hybrid accommodations
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services for students in grades 6 through 8
- Conduct evaluations and assessments, including occasional out-of-district as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student well-being
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation for all evaluations and progress sessions
- Uphold professional and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with district guidelines
- Participate in meetings, IEPs, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Role Details:
- Full-time, contract positions (two available)
- Assignments: One at a middle school, one covering evaluations and overflow
- Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
- Work hours: Either 8:15AM-3PM or 8:30AM-4PM
- Start date: ASAP; assignment ends June 10, 2027
- Onsite only—five days per week at the district as required
