Position Overview
We are seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time position supporting students in a PK-3rd grade building. The School Psychologist will support the needs of the entire building and collaborate closely with educators, administrators, families, and other members of the student support team.
This building has a high caseload and houses several specialized programs serving students with more significant disabilities, making this an excellent opportunity for a School Psychologist who is comfortable working in a diverse and high-needs special education environment.
A bilingual School Psychologist is also onsite 1–2 days per week to provide additional support.
Responsibilities
Provide school psychology services throughout the PK-3rd grade building
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Support the special education and IEP process
- Provide consultation and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Support students with a range of academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs
- Work with students participating in specialized programs
- Develop and implement recommendations based on individual student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements

Qualifications
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement is required
- Candidates must hold the appropriate Illinois PEL to qualify for this position
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students with significant and diverse needs
Compensation
- $55–$61 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
