Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or credential authorizing School Psychology services in educational settings
- Previous experience in school-based psychological assessment and intervention preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education law, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Participate as a multidisciplinary team member in eligibility meetings, IEP development, and intervention planning
- Provide individual and group counseling or behavioral interventions as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and implement effective interventions
- Assist in crisis prevention and management, and perform risk assessments when necessary
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, adhering to all professional and district standards
