School Psychologist in Cranston, RI

Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist credential issued in Rhode Island
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of special education law and assessment practices
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively within diverse teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students referred to special education
- Develop and implement targeted interventions and support plans
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to facilitate student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Maintain status documentation and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines
This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week across five days, primarily serving elementary and middle grades.
