Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Rhode Island Psychologist credential required (RI Psych)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving student needs and caseload
- Positive, solutions-focused approach to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results to help guide student interventions
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on effective strategies for learning and behavior challenges
- Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students as needed
- Provide direct counseling or intervention services to students individually and in small groups
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school culture
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation and progress monitoring
