Your expertise will support a caseload of 40-50 students, involving evaluations, individualized education program (IEP) development, and implementation of targeted interventions. You’ll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive educational environment and ensuring student success.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Must hold valid School Psychologist credentials for Ohio.
- Previous experience in K-12 settings strongly preferred.
- Proficient in conducting psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Familiarity with writing and implementing IEPs.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- Commitment to culturally competent and ethical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for referred students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families about student needs and progress.
- Offer individual/group counseling and support social-emotional learning initiatives.
- Maintain clear, thorough records of assessments, services, and progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to RTI/MTSS processes.
