School Psychologist in Danbury, CT

As a vital part of the school community, you'll enjoy a consistent 32.5-hour workweek while supporting a dynamic K-12 caseload. Your expertise will help assess student needs, provide interventions, and contribute to the creation of positive school environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification in Connecticut
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and writing detailed reports
- Familiarity with K-12 populations and diverse student needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students individually or in groups
- Consult with educators and families, offering insights and recommending strategies that support student learning and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
