School Psychologist in Daphne, AL
Exciting opportunity available for experienced school psychologists seeking a full-time, on-site contract position in the Mobile, AL area for the upcoming academic year. This role is tailored for dedicated professionals eager to support students across K–12, providing essential psychological services and assessments as needed within a dynamic school district.
Two positions are available, with assignments and specific school sites to be determined as the start date approaches. Candidates must hold an active Alabama school psychologist license and be comfortable working across multiple school sites to meet the district’s testing and service needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Active and valid AL school psychologist license (images of licenses required for presentation)
- Prior experience conducting evaluations and providing services in a K–12 setting
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
- Demonstrated capacity for traveling between multiple school sites as needed
- Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students K–12
- Participate in eligibility meetings, intervention planning, and IEP development
- Provide support and consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
- Document and communicate assessment findings and recommendations effectively
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Collaborate on district initiatives for special education and student well-being
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with the contract running from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the potential for extension based on performance and district needs.
