This contract-based opportunity runs from October 1, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with the potential for renewal. You’ll collaborate closely with school teams in the Mobile, AL region, supporting students across multiple campuses. Interviews will begin August 26, 2026, with a short pause from August 31 to September 4, and will reopen following that window.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active School Psychologist license in Alabama (documentation required)
- Previous experience supporting K-12 students is strongly preferred
- Skilled in assessments, testing, and providing student-centered interventions
- Flexible and willing to travel between sites as assignment may be itinerant based on testing needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, students, and families
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads across different school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students across all grade levels as testing needs arise
- Analyze assessment data and provide detailed, actionable reports
- Collaborate with educational teams on intervention planning, eligibility determinations, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Interact professionally with faculty, administrators, and families to address student needs and support positive learning outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as required
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation throughout the contract
